Bacillus Spizizenii (Bacillus subtilis) Spores

Virologica are happy to announce that we can now support your sporicidal claims with Bacillus spizizenii (formerly known as Bacillus subtilis) spores.

Some bacteria are able to form spores in challenging conditions, for example lack of nutrients, and can remain dormant for extended periods of time. When conditions are more favourable, the spores will germinate and begin growing again. Bacterial spores are resistant to many conventional biocides and pose a huge challenge to the disinfectant industry. Standard methods such as ASTM E2197 and AOAC 966.04 assess efficacy against bacillus spores, contact us at [email protected] for your quote.
